We are a brand new company that wants to bring back the magic and realism of stereo photography to everyone. Stereo photography was very popular in the first half of the twentieth century in the form of stereo cards which were viewed with a large wooden device commonly known as a Holmes Stereoscope. Later, Kodak released a line of stereo cameras called the Realist. These could take both left eye and right eye pictures simultaneously and popularized the format to the average photographer. But perhaps the most popular and famous system ever developed for stereo photography enjoyment was the ViewMaster. Pictures now came in small round "reels" that could be easily viewed on your ViewMaster viewer. Started in 1939, the ViewMaster system was a hit in the marketplace and was probably responsible for bringing stereo photography to more people than any other system. Hundreds of styles of viewers and thousands of commercially available reels have been produced over the years.
Combining the best of many previous stereo photography systems, Your 3D Photos aims to bring to you custom stereo photography, delivered in a variety of viewing methods, so you can enjoy your special moments in the fun and exciting 3D format!
